Community Day in the Park

Community Day in the Park (formerly Citizens Day) is an annual summer event hosted by the City of St. Helens in McCormick Park. Community Day is a day focused on making and strengthening community connections. It’s an opportunity for people to put down their cell phones, turn off the television, and enjoy a day of fun in a local park with friends and family. Activities are family-friendly, free, and designed for a wide age-range. Yearly activities include a free barbeque lunch, live music, lawn games, vendors, and more.

Community Day will be hosted on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place in McCormick Park, 475 S. 18th Street, St. Helens.
2025 activities include:
- Free barbeque lunch (while supplies last)
- Live music by The Decades
- Highway 30 Cruisers car show
- Community vendor row with a range of non-profits and businesses to explore
- Activities and games
We are still accepting vendor applications (please see Vendor Information section below for additional details).
