Weather Service Impacts: January 18, 2024
Due to unsafe travel conditions and for the safety of its employees, certain City facilities will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2024. This includes St. Helens City Hall and St. Helens Public Library. Road conditions will be reassessed tomorrow morning prior to opening.
The St. Helens Municipal Court is closed Thursday, January 18, 2024. If you have a court appearance scheduled for this Thursday, our Court staff will be in contact with you regarding rescheduling your court date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please note, there are circuit and municipal courts next door to each other in St. Helens. This closure is only related to municipal court services. Please check with Columbia County regarding any impacts to circuit court services.
In keeping with the St. Helens School District's closure on Thursday, the St. Helens Recreation Program has canceled all events happening at School District buildings tomorrow. This includes all after school programs and basketball. All events at the St. Helens Community Center are also canceled.
The St. Helens Police Department and essential Public Works services will operate as normal. Public Works can be reached during work hours by calling 503-397-3532. For after-hours Public Works assistance, call 503-397-1521. For police assistance, call 503-397-1521 for non-emergency situations and 911 for emergencies.
