Youth Summer Library Challenge

How the Youth Summer Library Challenge Works

Youth Ages Birth to 13

Beginning June 9th parents and caregivers can register their youth on Beanstack or in person at St. Helens Public Library. The program begins on June 16th and registered participants can come into the library and pick up a free drawstring pack, book, bookmark, and a reading log.

Beginning on June 16th start logging time spent reading and completing challenges.

Earn badges by logging the minutes you read either on Beanstack or at the Library, then come to the Library to pick up your badges. Visit the Library daily to spin the prize wheel and win a prize. (Only one spin per day.)

In addition to the reading log and prizes, the Library hosts family storytimes every Thursday at 11 a.m. as well as special programs throughout the summer. See the youth schedule for more details.
