Make It! 3D Printing and Vinyl Cutting

For ages 12-15

Learn how to create models for a 3D printer and designs for a vinyl cutter…. and go home with your creations! Presented in partnership with the St. Helens High School Career and Technical Education Department.

This is a unique workshop covering 20 topics related to our electoral systems and presenting specific ideas for bi-partisan civic/political engagement.

By looking back at the creation of the Constitution we puncture some myths and develop a broader perspective on its significance--perspective that helps us evaluate current political events more thoughtfully.

The St. Helens Public Library has a job opening for a Library Assistant working 20 hours per week. A typical work week has four shifts of five hours each that might be scheduled morning/afternoon, afternoon/evening, and on Saturday. This position is funded in the current budget which ends on 6/30/2018. Funding beyond that date will be known in late May or early June.

The St. Helens Public Library hosts the St. Helens Writers' Guild meeting each month.  Open to all writers.  2nd Saturday of each month at 12:00-2:00pm, in the Armstrong Room.
 

Once you've finished the computerized BLAST training on a St. Helens Public Library computer, you'll get training and certification in CPR and a crash course in the early literacy ideas you'll need to best care for children.

Space is limited and registration is required.  Please call the Library to sign up for one of the 16 available spots.  Ages 12-18
