Nob Hill Nature Park Work Party
Saturday, April 6, 2019 - 1:00pm
Join the Friends of Nob Hill Nature Park on Saturday, April 6 from 1-4 p.m. for the half-yearly volunteer work party at Nob Hill. Nob Hill is a 6.6-acre oak woodland overlooking the Columbia River. Volunteers will be working on the slope below the park to remove invasive lunaria and add new native plants.
Dress for the weather, in layers, and bring snacks and water. Apple juice and light snacks are also provided. To RSVP or for more information, contact our non-profit partner group Scappoose Bay Watershed Council at 503-397-7904 or email info@scappoosebay-wc.org.
Also, join us on Saturday, April 13, from 1-3 p.m., for a native plant ID walk sponsored by the Native Plant Society of Oregon. We’ll walk the Park’s trail loop to see and identify native plants and wildflowers.
For both events, meet at the Park’s main entrance across from the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 451 Plymouth Street, St. Helens. For help on the day of the work party, call 503-349-8586.
