St. Helens Recreation and Police Offer New Crafting with a Cop Events

St. Helens, Ore. – The St. Helens Recreation Program and St. Helens Police Department are offering a new Crafting with a Cop community event series. Community members of all ages are invited to visit the St. Helens Community Center at 2625 Gable Road for an opportunity to chat with officers while they participate in hands-on crafts. Events will be held on Thursdays, June 12, July 17, and August 14 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendees can drop in at any time during the events. An all-ages crafting option will be supplied. Community members may also bring a craft of their own to work on at the event. While crafting, attendees are encouraged to mingle with St. Helens officers and ask any questions they may have. This is a free event. No registration is required.
