Important Notice Regarding Storm Drains
The quality of the rivers and streams in and around our City is important to all of us. To help preserve and improve the quality of these waterways we need to ensure that the only thing that goes down a storm drain is rainwater. Please do not dump anything down a storm drain. In particular the dumping of antifreeze, oil, washing solutions, or RV holding tank wastes can cause significant environmental harm if dumped down a storm drain.
If you see such activity please help us by calling the City Wastewater Treatment staff at 503-397-2344 (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-F) or page us at 503-366-3104 during off-hours or emergencies.
Thank you for your help.
