Paper Weaving

Adults and Crafts Paper Weaving

The art of paper weaving has been around almost as long as paper itself. This craft uses textile techniques to create bookmarks, greeting cards, wall art, and even baskets. We’ll be starting out with the basics and exploring how to blend weaving with collage to make something new and beautiful out of recycled paper scraps.

Readers will learn how local authors; Natasha Parvey, Marc Knutson and Peter Luciano choose what to write about, their writing process, and hear short passages from their books. There will be time for questions from the audience. Moderated by Library Director Suzanne Bishop.
