Meet the Makerspace: Make a Custom Phone Stand on the Glowforge

Join us in the makerspace for interactive, project-based programs to help you get familiar with our brand new equipment! We will use the Glowforge to cut and engrave a custom phone stand.

Join us in the makerspace for interactive, project-based programs to help you get familiar with our brand new equipment! We'll create custom keychains using our 3D Printers and modeling software.

Meet the Makerspace: Customize a Water Bottle with the Cricut

Join us in the makerspace for interactive, project-based programs to help you get familiar with our brand new equipment! We will use the Cricut to cut custom designs out of adhesive vinyl which we will then apply to water bottles.

Meet the Makerspace: Wooden Pins with the Glowforge

Join us in the makerspace for interactive, project-based programs to help you get familiar with our brand new equipment! We will engrave and cut custom wooden pins using the Glowforge.

Nature Buddies

Join us for a nature activity in the park! Each week the Library and Parks & Rec will present a short read-aloud and songs and then provide an activity/lesson to hand out to parents/carers to do with their young people through age 5. Dress for the weather and trail walking. Let's get some fresh air and have fun!

Nature Buddies will not meet on 12/22, 12/29, or 3/23.

Bookmark Design Contest

Grab an entry form and design a bookmark -- let your imagination run wild! Finalists from three divisions (up to 6 years old, 7-11, and 12-18) will be chosen by the Library, and winners will be selected by a community vote to have their bookmarks printed and distributed during the Summer Library Challenge. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 28.

Winter Reading Challenge 2022! ¡Programa de Bibliotecas de Invierno 2022!

From December 17th through January 31st, keep track of the time you spend reading to earn prizes!

5 hours: Snowflake stamps
10 hours: Woodland animal keychain
15 hours: Woodland animal notebook with a twig pencil
20 hours: Travel mug with hot cocoa

Every hour you read will also get you one entry into our grand prize drawing at the end of the program! The grand prize winner will receive a $50 Powell's gift card; two additional prize winners will each receive a $25 Powell's gift card.
