Join us for two fabulous days of speakers: September 17th and 18th.  
We have added an option to attend via Zoom if you are unable to join us in-person.

Open extended hours due to heat

Due to excessive heat warning, "from 10 AM Saturday to 11 PM PDT Monday. " the Columbia Center and  St. Helens Public Library will be open extended hours Saturday--Monday. 

  • Saturday: 10:00am--7:00pm
  • Sunday: 2:00pm--7:00pm
  • Monday: 10:00am--7:00pm

CANCELED : Adult Summer Reading Challenge: Vertical Herb Garden

We apologize but due to the heat advisory in effect the Adult Summer Reading Challenge: Vertical Herb Garden is canceled.

Save your 28 oz tomato cans, because we’re going to need them for our last program. Using old
cupboard doors, tin cans and a bit of wire, we’re going to make a vertical herb garden. Participants can choose from a variety of herb starts.

Adult Summer Reading Challenge: Tabletop Cornhole

We’re miniaturizing cornhole! We’ll be making tabletop-sized cornhole games using recycled cardboard  boxes and will also supply the materials for a set of bean bags.  Who will be the cornhole champ in your family?

Adult Summer Reading Challenge: Firestarters

Do you get frustrated trying to light your campfire or that backyard fire pit? We’ll we’re here to help! We’ll be using egg cartons, paraffin, and stove pellets to create firestarters this week. Never struggle to start a fire again!
